PS BOOSTER, part of the PS complex. The files are copies of the files from 2014.
The files in the LAYOUT Database are being updated.

There are three types of optics:

orbit, protons during ramp                                                  - psb_orbit.madx

Injection from LINAC, protons @ Ekin=50 MeV, which corresponds to 311 MeV/c - psb_injection.madx

Extration towards the PS, protons @ 1.4 GeV                                 - psb_extraction_QH4.17_QV4.23.madxptc

Excecute the madx files from the "madx" directory, e.g.:
>madx_dev < psb_extraction.madx
NB!!! This files needs to be run with the madx_dev program

New definition of collimator. ECOLLIMATOR and RCOLLIMATOR are now defined
with the help of an APERTURE command. E.g.
COLLIM: ECOLLIMATOR, L = 0.5, APERTYPE = ELLIPSE, APERTURE = 0.01,0.005;             17/3/2015
