The MC samples generated using the full EGS em shower simulation (aka full sim) need a different set of photon and electron estimator calibration functions. Those functions have been computed by Marie-Noelle (photons) and Paolo (electron estimators) and are applied by default in the CN's when full sim MC samples are analyzed.
If you want to analyze by yourself those MC samples and you want to use those calibration functions you have to follow the following prescriptions.
Link in your ALPHA job the following files from the CN
official source code directory: corfull.F, gamread.F, qfgamp.F,
card_force.inc
Extract from the file newt.F
, in the CN
official code, the routines get_simul
and force_correction
and call get_simul
in qunewr
when MC data sets
are analyzed.
Add the following cards to your card file: DOFJ,
if
you are reading a full sim MC dataset, MEFL, RENF
. The code
will detect if you are reading a full sim MC dataset and, if this is the
case, it will check if the card DOFJ
exists, to be sure that
you are aware that a full sim MC is being analyzed. Finally it will set the
flag FJ_PHOT_COR=1
in the file card_force.inc to activate the
special correction functions.
The full sim photon corrections can be forced with the card:
COGA 2
, or inhibited with the card COGA 1,
irrespectively of the actual MC simulation.
Link in your ALPHA job the following files from the CN
official source code directory: wwleptonid.F, card_force.inc
and use the routine FLLEPT
to identify the leptons.
Extract from the file newt.F
, in the CN
official code, the routines get_simul
and force_correction
and call get_simul
in qunewr
when MC data sets
are analyzed.

in the file card_force.inc to activate the
special correction functions.
The full sim electron estimator corrections can be forced
with the card: CORT 2
, or inhibited with the card CORT 1,
irrespectively of the actual MC simulation.
Add plots of the special calibration functions
