ATLAS Detector Simulation with Geant4

A Geant4-based simulation suite for the ATLAS experiment (G4ATLAS) is available to developers and users since mid-03. It replaces the GEANT3-based simulation which was used for preparing the LOI/Technical Proposals/TDRs. In 2004 it was used for the DC2 production for the Rome workshop (2005) and for commissioning tasks.
