Step 1 : Procedure
with the
Users office
1.
Contract Modification or Extension Form
signed by your Institute Team Leader
2. Home Institution Declaration signed by the Administration or Direction of your Institute.
If you are not physically present at CERN you can fill in an EDH Checklist and attach the Home Institution Declaration

When joining ATLAS:
Step 2 :
Procedure with the former experiment Secretariat
1.
Before
registering with ATLAS,
please contact the Secretariat of
your current experiment.
2. The Secretariat of your current Experiment needs to close your participation in their database. They might in certain cases require a confirmation from your former Team Leader.
3. They have to remove your account from the Experiment e-group.
Step 3 :
Registration with the
ATLAS Secretariat
If you plan to
work on ATLAS you have to contact the ATLAS Secretariat and we will
register you. This will enable you to gain access to ATLAS protected pages and
twiki pages.
1.
Please complete
an
ATLAS Registration Form and have it signed by your team leader
or deputy team leader.
2. Bring in person the registration form or send it to us by e-mail or fax.
3.
24 hours after your registration is complete you will gain
access to ATLAS protected pages.
Step 2 : Procedure with the ATLAS Secretariat
1.
Before
registering with your new Experiment,
please contact the ATLAS Secretariat.
2. Ask us to close your participation in the ATLAS database and remove your account from zp, the ATLAS e-group.
You can now contact your new Experiment Secretariat and start your registration process with them.
