I plan to come to CERN and work for ATLAS!

Step 1 : Registration with the Users office

1.       Before you physically come to CERN, the  Team Leader of your Institute can register you via PRT (Pre-registration Tool) 

2.       After having completed all fields, the registration is sent directly to the Users Office who verifies the data prior to your arrival at CERN.

3.       Once your Team Leader has completed step 1, upon arrival at CERN, please go to the Users office and  take your passport and the Home Institution Declaration (the HID should be signed by the administration or direction of your Institute).  

Step 2 : Registration with the ATLAS Secretariat

If you plan to work on ATLAS you can already start your registration with the ATLAS secretariat remotely. This will enable you to obtain a CERN computing account and gain access to ATLAS protected pages and twiki pages.

1.      Please complete an ATLAS Registration Form and have it signed by your team leader or deputy team leader.

2.      Send the registration form and a copy of your passport to us by e-mail  or fax. Please note that your registration will not be considered without the copy of your passport and a clear e-mail address written on the form.

3.      Your CERN e-mail address, login and password will be sent to you within 1 to 2 days. 24 hours after your registration is complete you will gain access to ATLAS protected pages.
