I am a CERN User and I am leaving CERN but not ATLAS!

 Step 1 : Procedure with the Users office

1.        Please fill in the Termination Sheet and make sure you obtain all the necessary signatures before you leave. Please return your Swiss and French Cards to the Users office.

2.        Please return any other items (keys, phones etc) to the appropriate services.

Step 2 : Procedure with the ATLAS Secretariat

Even if your CERN User Contract expires you can still work on ATLAS remotely when returning to your Institute.

1.        Please come to the ATLAS Secretariat and we will check for you if your ATLAS participation is still valid or needs to be extended. In case of an extension please fill in an ATLAS Registration Form signed by your Team Leader or deputy. Please tick Contract Extension on the top of the form.

2.        You will keep access to your CERN e-mail account at least 2 months after the end of your ATLAS participation. Access to ATLAS Twiki and protected pages will expire 1 month after the expiration of your ATLAS participation.
