SGV is now also on AFS !

SGV has now been installed on the cern.ch cell of AFS, on /afs/cern.ch/delphi/tasks/sgv and down.

To use this instalation, do

or on /afs/cern.ch/delphi/tasks/sgv/share/pam to define source, library and script locations. If You're in DELPHI, SGV_PAM and SGV_LIB is already defined for You in the group-profile.

Basically, this means that to start using SGV on the PLUS services, You can skip chapter 2 in the users-guide, and start directly with the instructions in chapter 3. (If You're in DELPHI, You can also skip step 2 in 3.1)

It runs correctly on all the PLUS systems (GNU/Linux, HP, DEC and IBM).

All libraries are compiled both optimized and with debug.

To create Your executable, do (in the directory where Your user code resides):

to get the optimized version, or to get the debug version. Note that You don't need to "ksh" the scripts, (they are now in mode "x"), nor specify the path ($SGV_PAM is now added to Your path by sgvenv)

Don't copy from this area to export to another platform, but down-load from the Web ! The afs area is almost 20 MB, and hundreds of files. You get it all in a single 230 kB file from the Web!
