A new major version of the ``HP-UX Installation Guide'' (3.0) is now available from the UCO or in the Web, at URL:

The guide has been updated for the routed network now being introduced in CERN and it now also describes the new version of the operating system, HP-UX version 10.
HP-UX 10 is now more stable and is being tested, for instance on the new ATLAS workgroup server which is to be brought into production this autumn. It's still too early to deploy it on a large scale at CERN but we hope to be able to announce this in due course (with the certification of HP-UX 10.10). The latest information about the HP-UX 10 deployment will be posted to the cern.hp newsgroup.
