The book list continues to grow and these past weeks we have received many suggestions from users for new titles. Below is a list of books received since the last CNL.

The books on Java continue to sell very well and the series from Addison Wesley has proved very popular. There are two further volumes being published this autumn, and as usual we will announce in cern.computing news when they are in stock. The new HTML 3 book by Raggett has also just arrived.
Books from Microsoft Press have also been in demand and users have told us that the ``Inside'' series is particularly appreciated. There is now a comprehensive stock of books on Visual C++ and visual basic.
The second version of the ``Encyclopedia of Graphics'' is now available. Unfortunately O'Reilly have got behind with two books, ``Learning Gnu Emacs'' and ``Programming Perl''. We were promised new versions which will not now be available until October at the earliest to cover emacs V19 and Perl 5.
The new version of the Mathematica book is just available. This is the Stephen Wolfram official book. He has swapped from Addison Wesley to Cambridge University Press for this new edition; we should have plenty of copies in stock by the time the CNL is published.
The official Oracle Press books published by McGraw Hill are also available and the two most popular are in stock.
We have ``Using Netscape 2'' in stock and hopefully by the end of October we will be able to offer the latest version ``Using Netscape 3''.
New accounts have been set up with John Wiley, Morgan Kaufmann and Butterworth Heinmann, so please do not hesitate to contact me directly if there are books you feel might be of interest for other users.
The complete list of books is to be found at the end of this CNL or can be consulted on the Web at url http://consult.cern.ch/books.
