Letter from the Editor

I will take the opportunity of this "Letter from/to the Editor" section to thank Mike Metcalf, who has acted as an "anonymous" (but very careful) proof-reader of the CERN Computer NewsLetter over many years, checking both the English syntax and the contents. This CNL is the last one for him, as he is leaving CERN for early retirement. Let me wish him, on your behalf, all the best for his future life.
