As announced in the last CNL (CNL 229,
CERNLIB 98 Release and
Cernlib on Windows NT/95), release 98 of the CERN Program Library
has taken place in March 1998.
Tar files should be installed in asisftp.cern.ch
at the beginning of April.

which has been updated to reflect the final system and compiler levels that will be on the supported platforms for the immediate future.
