Accounting Information is in WWW

  Attila Koppanyi IT/User Support

Recent requests for accounting information suggest that a reminder of the availability of such information might serve a useful purpose.

The "IT Division Accounting Services" Web site (http://wwwinfo.cern.ch/accounting) points to reports in HTML, graphics and plain text format, covering IT division's centrally operated services. The material available from there includes summaries, special reports and detailed source data. To access data (e.g. for 1998), select the link "Accounting Summaries for 1998" and then the week of interest.

The site is updated weekly. With constant additions to the services, there are frequent changes in the contents. The most recent addition was the introduction of reports on PCSF.

The current list of services in the Accounting Summaries are

They are displayed in a tabular format, contain the last four weeks, and the week one year ago for comparison. The HTML format also contains icons for graphical presentation of certain data. As an example, by following the links "Accounting Summaries for 1998" and "HTML" for the 37th week in 1998, you access the corresponding table of the "GLOBAL resources"; the ASCII version is printed below:
