The latest certified version of all the supported UNIX systems at CERN is, according to their respective vendors, Y2K-compliant. That is:
We are anyway testing these systems in real conditions in the
"Y2K cluster" (see the article
"Invitation to perform Y2K testing under Unix" in this
CNL). Note also, that some vendors may release Y2K related patches
later this year so you should keep an eye on the URL:

We recommend to upgrade your UNIX machines to the latest certified level as soon as possible to avoid problems when approaching the end of the year. Note however that we will very likely certify a new version of Linux later this year (this will be discussed at the next CLUG meeting, in June) so, for Linux only, you may want to wait before upgrading.
