DELPHI Z0 PEAK EVENT

DELPHI Event r0047011e0014504

e+ e- ---> q qbar gamma , 2 jets
This event has two well collimated jets at a polar angle of about 45 degree.

A hard gamma with approximately 15 GeV is seen in the HPC (the energy is not well defined, as this comes from the 1st processing of 1994, where the calibration is not yet tuned). The gamma has a polar angle of 82 degree with respect to the beam and forms an angle of about 55 degree with the closest jet. The most likely interpretation is therefore final state radiation from the quarks.
