Next prerelease

Template Version 1.1a for FrameMaker 5.5, 23 March 2000

New features included

Note that these features are included in the FrameMaker files but the documentation and HTML conversion have not been updated yet.

  • Parts
New template file for a "part" separation page, and a modified TOC template to include also part entries. This has required also modifications to the TOC template.

  • H5 heading style in Chapter template
A heading tag for H5 has now been added to the chapter template, necessitating changes to other paragraphs using the chapter-based autonumbering scheme, as well as to the TOC.

Other fixes & improvements

  • Make a 2nd Figure Caption style, as run-in head
This so that to still be able to control what appears in the LOF but not get a line break between teh Figure Caption paragraph and the Figure Caption Continuation.

  • Removal of Times font on reference pages
To avoid confusion in debugging font usage problems, only Palatino is used for all running text, even on the Reference Pages.

  • Adopt filename extensions standard for 5.5
I.e. ".fm" for document files and ".bk" for book files.
