A search for the pseudoscalar meson $\eta_b$ is performed 
in two-photon interactions at LEP2. The data sample corresponds 
to a total integrated luminosity of 610 pb$^{-1}$ collected at 
centre-of-mass energies from 183 GeV to 209 GeV. Preliminary 
results of the analysis in the $\eta_b$ mass region are presented. 
Several candidate events are found in different final states.
