Title: Study of the pi+ pi- pi+ pi- Final State in  
Two-Photon Collisions at LEP.


The reaction 
gamma gamma --> pi+ pi- pi+ pi- 
has been studied with the L3 detector at LEP.
The data sample used corresponds to a total 
integrated luminosity of 410 pb-1 collected
at the centre-of-mass energies from 189 GeV to 202 GeV.
In the four-pion invariant mass region below 2 GeV/c2
the process is dominated 
by rho0 rho0 production.
A spin-parity  analysis shows a dominance of 
the two-photon helicity state  
(JP,J_z)=(2+,2) with the small admixture from JP=0+.
The contribution of the negative parity states is consistent 
with zero.
