On 31 October 1995 at 8:00 pm L3 first run at 130 GeV started.

  • First events at 140 GeV from the 11 November run

  • Transparencies from the CERN Colloquiem on 12/12/95

Here is a "random" choice of event pictures

The most frequent high energy events are hadronic events.

Of course we also find their usual companions:

    di-muon events,

    bhabha events,

    tau events

    and neutrino events.

But, the largest excitement for this higher energy run comes from the search of events due to new physics processes.
