L3 events at 91 GeV

For a large collection of LEP1 event displays look in the

Postscript archive with pictures of events

• Z --> b.bbar -> e+ mu+ X -- a B-mixing candidate. The magenta tower is an electron measured in the BGO and the green track is a muon in the muon chambers.

• Z --> tau tau event -- as seen in the TEC and BGO. The top left tau decayed into an electron while the botton right tau decayed into three charged hadrons.

• Z --> three hadronic jets -- each jet has a different colour.

• J/psi candidate -- you read the book, now see the movie.

events with tracks in the forward-backward muon chambers:

• an inclusive muon event

• a dimuon event
