This is the homepage for the Alignment software project. The software can be used to align the tracking detectors of the LHCb spectrometer. The principal organizational structure is such that interfacess are put in AlignmentInterfaces, tools can be put in AlignTrTools, where tools related to the Millepede algorithm have been put in AlignmentTools. TAlignment contains two algorithms that can be used for alignment, where one algorithm uses the Kalman filter for fitting tracks, and the other uses an analytical form.
The history of dependencies and included packages can be viewed for any tagged version (including the ones that have been removed) from the SVN web interface. Check for the versions with the relevant SVN tags. For project dependencies see the ALIGNMENT_vXrY/cmt/project.cmt file. For the versions of the packages included in the ALIGNMENT project see the AlignmentSys/vXrY/cmt/requirements file.
