The BRUNEL Project

Welcome to the BRUNEL project website. Brunel is the LHCb event reconstruction application, based on the Gaudi and LHCb frameworks.

Announcements

To have access to all the available versions, please follow this link.

Brunel can process either real data from the LHCb DAQ system, or the output of the detector digitization application (Boole).

The LHCb software is structured as a set of projects in Gitlab. The Brunel project provides only the job options and main program for running the Brunel application. The application itself consists of components taken from the Rec and Lbcom projects. The environment for working with a given version of Brunel should be set up using the tools described in the SoftwareEnvTools TWiki.

Coordinators

To contact the Brunel coordinators, please use the mailing list lhcb-brunel-managers@cern.ch
