Relative branching ratio measurements of charmless $B^{\pm}$ decays to three hadrons

Abstract

With an integrated luminosity of 34 pb$^{-1}$ collected by LHCb during the 2010 run, we analyse the charmless three-body $B^{\pm}$ decays $B^{\pm} \rightarrow K^{\pm} \pi^{+} \pi^{-}$, $B^{\pm} \rightarrow K^{\pm} K^{+} K^{-}$ and $B^{\pm} \rightarrow p \bar p K^{\pm}$. The branching ratios relative to $B^{\pm} \rightarrow K^{\pm} \pi^{+} \pi^{-}$ are found to be $\frac{{\cal B}(B^{\pm}\rightarrow K^{\pm}K^{+}K^{-})}{{\cal B}(B^{\pm}\rightarrow K^{\pm}\pi^{+}\pi^{-})} = 0.52 \pm 0.03 {\mathrm{(stat)}} \pm 0.01 {\mathrm{(syst)}}$ and $\frac{{\cal B}(B^{\pm}\rightarrow p \bar p K^{\pm})}{{\cal B}(B^{\pm}\rightarrow K^{\pm}\pi^{+}\pi^{-})} = 0.19 \pm 0.02 {\mathrm{(stat)}} \pm 0.02 {\mathrm{(syst)}}$.
