Sources and binaries

There are two versions of MAD-8 available, the "production" version (default) 8.23.06 which has been frozen in 1999 and will not be further developed; and the "new" version which has been developed further (see latest changes and additions) and is currently 8.51.09 (december 2001).

For both versions, there exist executable binaries for Linux (Intel based), SunOS (only new), and OSF1; for the same systems (and others, with small mods to the Makefile) there exist complete installation packages, comprising as well the converter to Sixtrack, and the SXF input and output converters.
