Weightfield2

Weightfield2 is a 2D silicon detector simulator which allows to simulate Ultra-Fast detectors with inner gain.

Weightfield2 is based on the original Weightfield by HEPHY

  • solves Poisson's equation using Vdep (not from doping)

Requirements:

  • ROOT 5.34

  • Dowload source code (tar.gz)

    Instructions:
    in weightfield2 directory type
    make
    ./weightfield
    Edit "parameters.dat" to change the initial run values
