The object in the foreground is a pumping manifold, with an ion
pump on top.

Through the opened hatch, one can see the two ferrite loaded
cylinders that permit the cavity to be tuned, with the actual
accelerating gap between them. The black hoses feed cooling water
to keep the temperature of the ferrite discs in check.
The blue base contains the final power amplifier.
