Digitisation procedure

The code can be found in the Calice-CVS repository: http://www-zeuthen.desy.de/lc-cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/calice_maps/?cvsroot=calice

and has been reorganised in 3 packages for the digitisation procedure of full detector +TB setup.

Userlib package:

Contains common code, plus code you may want to use when analysing the file, like the CellIDDecoder (DecoderTB for the testbeam) of the MySimHit class (MySImHitTB for the TB). Needs to be compiled before the other packages.

For the full simulation detector

The package is digiMAPS. Some documentation more or less up-to-date (but containing the basic principles) can be found in the doc/ directory or here:

digiMAPS_doc.ps.

For the TB

The package is digiTB. The processors are really similar to digiMAPS ones. THe noise only hits will however be added in a separate package, that will create a ROOTFILE containing the BunchTrain/BunchCrossing structure, in a similar way to the output real data.
