revision releases of caNl v. 2.2.3, CREAM LSF module v. 2.0.4, CREAM SLURM module v. 1.0.2, CREAM TORQUE module v. 2.1.4, GridSite v. 2.2.5, L&B, v. 4.1.2
This revision fixes long-discussed certificate chain validation errors.
Installation and configuration:
There is no installation, the packages will be brought in by a depending application. That also covers the upgrade from caNl 1.x to 2.x. As soon as the depending application introduces a dependence on caNl v. 2, it will be pulled automatically.
SLURM infoproviders publish the values for all the attributes managed; if a value is not defined the one published is the max or min value available according to GLUE1/GLUE2
Fixed the following bugs:
CREAM-140 - Missing check in triggerun for info-dynamic-scheduler-slurm
CREAM-142 - SLURM provider should publish undefined values
TORQUE infoproviders publish the values for all the attributes managed; if a value is not defined the one published is the max or min value available according to GLUE1/GLUE2
Fixed the following bugs:
CREAM-139 - Missing check in triggerun for lcg-info-dynamic-scheduler-pbs
CREAM-141 - TORQUE provider should publish undefined values
This is a revision of GridSite, fixing memory handling issues, mostly around GRSTx509MakeProxyCert(), and incorporating a community fix for the htproxyput utility.
To deploy, update your installation and restart the Web-server.
Known issues:
When upgrading from the EMI repository on Debian, mod_gridsite is not correctly replaced. Uninstall the old module first and install the new one to work around the issue.
This is a hot fix for issues caused by the previous release. It also adds missing man pages and updates existing ones, and fixes configuration and documentation files to explicitly control and explain purging of done jobs.
Configuration requires, at the very least, setting MYSQL_PASSWORD, SITE_NAME and SITE_EMAIL in the site-info.def file.
Reconfiguration is required if you are updating. On Scientific Linux, you can (re)configure by YAIM.
On Debian, use the glite-lb-setup command. Upgrading from previous versions of L&B (earlier than 4.0) involves a database schema change. A DB migration script is available. In typical scenarios it will be initiated automatically during reconfiguration. Follow documentation in case it needs to be started manually.
Known issues:
There are missing dependencies on 32-bit platforms, which prevent L&B from installing succesfully. They are glite-info-provider-service, bdii and glite-yaim-bdii. They have only been released with EMI-1 and can be obtained from the EMI-1 (or UMD-1) repository if installation on a 32-bit system is required.
Although this update fixes issues related to restarting the L&B Harvester service upon update, the fix won't take effect until the next update. To make sure harvester restarts correctly, do either of the following:
Reconfigure by yaim after update
kill the old harvester daemon (glite-lb-harvester) before updating
