Cobbler

One particular alternative that has been suggested is the provisioning tool Cobbler (see CobblerKoan), which supports installs via PXE, re-installation and virtualisation using VMs such as XEN and KVM. Alongside Cobbler is Koan, a helper program for re-installation and virtualisation support.
