  • Make sure that your system clock is synchronized: ntpdate your.time.server.domain.tld
  • Make sure that Kerberos is properly configured: lcm-configure krb5clt
  • Make sure that AFS is properly configured: lcm-configure afsclt
  • Obtain a Kerberos 5 ticket: kinit (optionally, kinit username@CERN.CH)
  • Verify that you've got a ticket: klist
  • Verify that you've got an AFS token: tokens
  • If you have no tokens, get one: aklog (optionally, aklog -cell cern.ch)
