    • from AA meeting: we should meet Stefan Roiser to discuss packaging & distribution of "LCG software". CMS use RPMs, LHCb are considering it as well. What can we offer? yum repositories? installations of desktops? Support issues?

    • Testing of desktops / laptops:
      • hp-dc7900 desktop in stores, with note that displayport does not work on SLC53. Jarek will investigate.
      • 3 new laptops in stores, will be labeled as 'SLC5 compliant. Olivier B still testing.
    • AA meeting: Peter presented distcc pilot service. Well received, many questions from many people (many "distcc islands" exist). Next steps: step-by-step guide, set up SLC5 nodes,work with Atlas

  • Catherine Delamare wants to organize a meeting between AFS, Linux, Lxplus and helpdesk teams, end of March. Two goals:
    1. They want to see our faces
    2. Helpdesk to submit 'top-10' issues (ssh!), we should address them.
