Question

I'm following the documentation I have found to set up a TWiki site without root privileges: http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Codev/HostedSiteInstallationGuide When I get to the end of the third step (Configure), it says to test my setup by pointing my browser to: http://yourdomain.com/twiki/bin/testenv However, in TWiki 4.1.2, there is no script called testenv in that area. Then, when I point my browser to http://yourdomain.com/twiki/bin/configure it displays the configure script, but doesn't execute it. How do I tell the browser to execute the script? Also, is there documentation on installing TWiki 4.1.2 without root privileges?

Answer

Dear Joseph, I guess you do not have a cgi-script enabled Web-site. Please look at the TWiki documentation on http://twiki.org/ . (This support web is for the CERN user community using the CERN intranet TWiki.)
