NAME
lfc-chclass - change class of a LFC directory in the name server
SYNOPSIS
lfc-chclass
[-i]
[-r]
class
path...
DESCRIPTION
lfc-chclass
sets the class of a LFC directory(s) in the name server to the value in
class.
This can be either the classid or the class name.
The effective user ID of the process must match the owner of the directory or
the caller must have ADMIN privilege in the Cupv database.
- path
-
specifies the LFC pathname.
If
path
does not start with
/,
it is prefixed by the content of the
LFC_HOME
environment variable.
OPTIONS
The following options are supported:
- -i
-
Request acknowledge before changing each individual entry.
- -r
-
Recursive mode.
The class is changed on the directories, not on the existing regular files.
EXIT STATUS
This program returns 0 if the operation was successful or >0 if the operation
failed.
