cern-linuxsupport-access

Introduction

cern-linuxsupport-access can be used to enable/disable root access to the machine by CERN Linux.Support personnel (2nd and 3rd level).

• It should be the preferred way to give access to Linux.Support personnel
• This tool must be used carefully and always deactivated after closing the ticket/request.
• Users should disable it as soon as the machine is fixed.

Installation

yum install cern-linuxsupport-access

Usage

cern-linuxsupport-access enable

cern-linuxsupport-access disable
