Search for new physics in high mass diphoton events in 3.3 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV and combined interpretation of searches at 8 TeV and 13 TeV
Abstract: We report on a search for new physics using high mass diphoton events. The search employs 3.3 fb$^{-1}$ of pp collision data collected by the CMS experiment in 2015 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. It is aimed at spin-0 and spin-2 resonances of mass between 500 and 4500 GeV and relative width up to $ 5.6 \times 10^{-2} $. The results of the search are combined with those obtained by the CMS collaboration in similar searches at $\sqrt{s}=$ 8 TeV.
