The User Consultancy Office as a service provides a collection of short
documents, mostly related to UNIX. These are aimed as brief introductory
guides to
help the novice user become effective without initially having to
plough through detailed reference documentation. Notice, however, that we
strongly recommend that you
consult the reference manuals if you intend to make serious use of the
application or facility documented in the cards.
Since the last CNL, reference card 24
(Migrating from MAIL/VM to pine)
has been revised to include the command vmexport to further
automate the mail books and names file transfer. The mailmigrate
facility has also been documented as the utility to
configure pine for use with the MailServer. The EDH reference
cards 26 (French) and 27 (English) are now available
online in html format.
EDH PostScript versions will be available shortly.
Most reference cards are also available online located at
http://consult.cern.ch/UCO/refcards
and visible via a WWW browser such as Mosaic or Netscape.
