2.5.2  Formatting double figures

Double figures are formatted into a special table Figure Double . Position the cursor where you would like to anchor the double figure in the text and copy and paste the table from the Formatting Figures Reference page. wing table:

Figure 2-2 Percentage of events in the low energy tail (below 2 s ) for different calorimeter depth configurations. Results are shown for 50 and 300 GeV pions.		Figure 2-3 Angular resolution for pions as a function of the beam energy.

Then adjust the height, and only the height, of the two inner anchored frames (that will contain the two actual figures) as needed. Fill in each Figure Caption as necessary.
