The pressure of the gas.

[Initially set to 760\ Torr.]

unit

Specifies the unit by which you enter the gas pressure.

Garfield internally stores the pressure in Torr and e.g. the E/p tables are therefore in V/cm.Torr, no matter the pressure unit you used on input. Also the unit with which the pressure is displayed is not affected by the unit with which you enter it.

The following pressure units are accepted:
