Conventions

Following the CLASSIC standard, the phase-space coordinates are now:

x, p_{x}, y, p_{y}, - v\cdot t, p_{t} = \delta p / p_{s}.
\end{displaymath}

where $p_{s}$ is the constant momentum of a "synchronous" particle, and $v$ is the instantaneous velocity of the particle.
