Showing intensity after injection (PR.DCAFTINJ_1) and before extraction (PR.DCBEFEJE_1) for ion beams (particle type = 'PB54') having FTARGET as destination

Beam Transmission

Showing transmission for ion beams (particle type = 'PB54') having FTARGET as destination as follows:

  • Beam transmission from LEIR: ratio between intensity after extraction from LEIR and intensity after injection in the PS: PR.DCAFTINJ_1:INTENSITY / EE.BCT10:TOTAL_INTENSITY.

  • Beam transmission in the ring: ratio between intensity before extraction and intensity after injection: PR.DCBEFEJE_1:INTENSITY / PR.DCAFTINJ_1:INTENSITY.

  • Beam transmission in the transfer line: ratio between intensity in the last BCT of the line and intensity before extraction: F16.BCT.212:TOTAL_INTENSITY / PR.DCBEFEJE_1:INTENSITY.

The normalised transmission is shown in the second plot:

  • Extraction/injection - Normalised: (extraction/injection) / PR.DCBEFEJE_1:INTENSITY.

  • Transfer line - Normalised: Transfer line / FTA.BCT9053:INTENSITY.
