Acknowledgements in ATLAS Publications

The ATLAS Collaboration and its members have received funding from many agencies over the course of detector design, commissioning, operation and physics exploitation. This support is gratefully acknowledged. The number of funding sources being large, the Collaboration has a policy only to list the principal funding agencies by their acronyms in the acknowledgements of ATLAS publications. In particular details of specific grants such as grant numbers cannot be included due to space constraints.

The current standard acknowledgement statement in ATLAS publications is the following ( Version 2023-12-19 ):

We thank CERN for the very successful operation of the LHC, as well as the support staff from our institutions without whom ATLAS could not be operated efficiently.
