Overview

The CERN CE service is defined as a critical service in the services catalog.

Installation and Configuration

CDB template is pro_type_gridce_slc3.tpl

Base SLC3 installation:

The NCM-YAIM component allows since version ncm-yaim-0.0.18-1 to configure if you want to run the YAIM configuration automatically within the component (configure = true|false). This has been disabled for the CE for now to avoid unnecessary and unwanted runs and restarts of the services. In addition, The installation of the ce fails, because YAIM terminates with an error in case the host certificate is not in place.
