DPM General Description

Description

The DPM (Disk Pool Manager) is a lightweight solution for managing disk storage.

The DPM is secure : it supports GSI security and VOMS.

How to install/administer/user it ?

The DPM can be installed :

• via YAIM, or
• "by hand"

Deployment status

DPM is deployed over 150 sites in EGEE. You can see the current status in LCG.

The largest deployment is about 360 TB!
