WLCG Operations Coordination Team Internal Planning

Please use the wlcg-ops-coord-chairpeople list for internal communication.

Operations Coordination Meetings

  • Indico Agendas
  • The duties of the chairperson:
    • Chair the meeting.
  • The duties of the minute taker:
    • Create the Indico agenda by cloning a previous agenda and adjusting it.
      • Beware to start from an agenda that has the correct Vidyo room details (normally for 31-S-023).
    • Make the minutes' twiki, by copying and adjusting the template (or the previous minutes),
and link it from the agenda as added material (not as type "minutes" !).
    • Add links to agenda and minutes to WLCGOpsCoordination.
    • Announce the upcoming meeting to wlcg-operations 2-3 days before.
    • Write the Operations News section in the twiki after checking with the chairpeople.
    • After the meeting, send the minutes, including Highlights to the chairpeople for approval by Monday.
      • The minutes are automatically approved if nobody objects within a full working day.
    • Send out the minutes to wlcg-operations on Monday, copying the Highlights in the email.

Note: The wlcg-operations e-group used to announce the meeting and send the minutes contains, amongst others, the wlcg-tier1-contacts and wlcg-tier2-contacts lists which used to be generated, very sporadically, by Andrea S. with a script, from the support emails registered in GOCDB. They have occasionally been updated manually in the last years. OSG T2 sites are not there because Rob Quick requested that he takes care of passing the messages to OSG: to be clarified if that is still desirable these days.
