LCGSCM Pre-Production Service Status

Status

• gLite 3.0 Update 16 deployed in PPS (16-Jan-07) (VOMS Admin Update, downgrade of CondorG on lcg-RB)
• Gridview service available for PPS sites at the same address as in production http://gridview.cern.ch/GRIDVIEW/same_index.php
• CMS, Alice and LHCB running jobs on SLC4 WNs mainly at CERN_PPS
• New LCG CE (ce110) giving access to production SLC4 WNs available at CERN_PPS (thanks to Ulrich Schwickerath - FIO)
• The submission chain of the SAM monitoring which was broken after Christmas break is now fixed.
• CA test on SAM PPS upgraded smoothly

Work in progress

• Upgrade of all services to gLite3 Update16 in progress at all sites
• Upgrade completed at 3 sites (all in SWE ROC)

Issues

• Clashes between Alice and CMS in the use of SLC4 CE at CERN_PPS - Should be solved by the introduction of the new CE
• LHCB reported issues using the pps-wms at CERN_PPS (now fixed)
• Clarification needed with Atlas about the use of PPS DPMs
