Error

You get this:

$ globus-url-copy file:/etc/group gsiftp://my_dpm.my.domain/tmp/test.1
error: the server sent an error response: 530 530 No local mapping for Globus ID 

Solution

Check that:

• the user appears in the /etc/grid-security/grid-mapfile
• there are enough pool accounts (see in /etc/grid-security/gridmapdir/)
• not all the pool accounts are in use
