ROC Main progress/issues
CERN
  • Has been busy with cross grid coordination of incidents, (preparation of) training and dissemination. Ongoing work on establishment of cross grid communication channels. Tests of them are planned.
    • France
  • CNRS CA was one of those using MD5, responsible person informed, work in progress. Switchover procedure to new CSIRT list has to be written down and started.
    • Italy  
    UK & Ireland
  • Has been active in training and dissemination, plans a training event in January, in contact with middleware developers. Working on scoring system for SSC. A website with SSC results of the region implementing this has been set up. If somebody from OSCT wants access, ask Mingchao and send him your DN.
    • Germany & Switzerland
  • Follow up incident locally and coordination in DECH region, solving problems for csirt-email lists not receiving mails
    • North Europe
  • Preparing SSC runs at tier-1, working on test environment. Working on communication channels in Benelux region.
    • South West Europe  
    South East Europe
  • Follow-up of sites not providing CSIRT information in the GOCDB ongoing. A reminder is sent to the corresponding ROC security officers for new sites without CSIRT info.
    • Central Europe
  • Setting up framework for security monitoring. Asks for input and contributions/manpower from the other ROCs on this subject.
    • Russia  
    Asia Pacific
  • Update of general information web page done. SSC planned.
