LFC servers

Three LFC servers at CERN have been setup for the LHCb replication tests :

• lxb0716.cern.ch
• lxb0717.cern.ch
• lxb1540.cern.ch

The Oracle account used for each is specified in /opt/lcg/etc/NSCONFIG.

To get access to these servers, contact Miguel Coelho.

Oracle accounts

Streams

Three accounts had been originally setup for the Streams tests :

• lcg_lfc_3d_lhcb@strmtest
• lcg_lfc_3d_lhcb_10m@strmtest
• lcg_lfc_3d_lhcb_100m@strmtest

Materialized Views

Three accounts had been originally setup for the Streams tests :

• lcg_lfc_mv_lhcb@strmtest
• lcg_lfc_mv_lhcb_10m@strmtest
• lcg_lfc_mv_lhcb_100m@strmtest

LFC population

To populate the LFC servers, use /afs/cern.ch/user/v/vagnoni/public/lfcfill.tar.gz.

Untar this file, and go to the lfc/ directory.

Modfy the following variables in start.sh according to your needs :

export LFC_HOST=lxb0717.cern.ch
export NTHREAD=40
export NLFNPERTHREAD=1000000

To start/stop the tests :

./start.sh
./stop.sh
