Discussion: GSSDATLAS has ramped back up to exporting at 4-500 MB/s. CMS have been populating their WAN disk pool and expect to start exporting today. The GSSDLHCB VO box keeps running out of memory. It collects log files from grid batch jobs via lcg-cp. The number of processes builds up and there seems to be a knee effect at about 800 gridftp processes where all the time goes in system and over a few hours the virtual memory becomes exhausted.

Wednesday

Log: volhcb01 rebooted twice overnight after hitting 9000 processes.

Actions: Organise meeting with lhcb to discuss use of volhcb01 as job logger.

Discussion: FTS traffic dried up about 17.00. Found by M.Litmaath (on leave) to be an expired myproxy-fts host certificate. Fixed by him about midnight. GSSDATLAS and CMS both now exporting at 350 MB/s. From 06.00 till 14.45 we were publishing no cpus to the grid. Probably cured by Ullrich removing two stale cache lock files.

Actions: Meet with GSSDLHCB at 10 to discuss their problems with volhcb01 and srm.cern.ch.

Discussion: cms has still not reached their 300 MB/s data export threshold.

Actions: SC4 (dteam) export pool reduced from 20 to 12 diskservers.

Discussion: GSSDATLAS and CMS both exporting at 3-400 MB/s last night but rate has dropped this morning.
