Presentation on SRM status

Short meeting with Flavia who has passed to Andrea her presentation about dCache given last January. The presentation will have to be updated and include more in general issues about all SRM implementations, not only dCache.

Some comments:

• There are no general instructions or guidelines about the configuration of dCache. So any site sets up a different configuration. Especially about the backup library to be used for the mass storage, there is a big variety among the Tiers1.

• About Chimera, the new file system that will implement dCache. It has been through some functionality tests, but through a careful stress test which proves it can solve all the problems previously observed with pnfs file system. Though, it will be put in production soon.
