Currently only a list of candidate Tier-2 sites is available:
BARI ALICE, CMS
CATANIA ALICE
LNF ATLAS
LNL ALICE, CMS
MILANO ATLAS
NAPOLI ATLAS
PISA CMS
ROMA1 ATLAS, CMS
TORINO ALICE
CNAF LHCb
The LHCb Tier-2 at CNAF will be colocated with the Tier-1.
* SRM
** December 2005: 60% of sites have working SRM interface
** End of March 2006: All sites (including Tier-1) will be able to
transfer files using FTS and SRM 2.1
** March - April 2006: Test of interoperability between Tier-1 and Tier-2s
* FTS
** December 2005: FTS client configured for 60% sites
** December 2005: 60% of Tier-1 <--> Tier-2 channels configured
** End of January 2006: Evaluation of requirements for an Intra-Tier-2
FTS channel infrastructure
** End of February 2006: All Tier-2 sites have FTS client configured
** End of March 2006: Implementation and testing of Intra-Tier-2 FTS
channel infrastructure completed (Use case to be verified)
* Tier-1 - Tier-1 transfers
** End of January 2006: Definition of intra Tier-1 transfer requirements
** End of February 2006: Implementation of dedicated path to FZK Tier-1
* Tier-1 - Tier-2s transfers
** Second half of March 2006: peak rate tests Tier-1 to Tier-2s
** Seconf half of March 2006: short (~ 2 days) individual sustained tests to all Tier-2s
** First half of April 2006: sustained transfer tests Tier-1 to all Tier-2s (target rates according to the table below)
** Second half of April 2006: aggregate Tier-2 to Tier-1 transfers at target rate as specified in the table below
Tier-2 exp IN rate (Mb/s) OUT rate (Mb/s)

* Tier-2 - Tier-2 Transfers (Use case to be understood)
** Second half of April: for each experiment, peak rate tests for every Tier-2 to a given other Tier-2 of choice
** Second half of April: sustained transfer (for every Tier-2) at target rate (as in table above) in parallel with sustained transfer from Tier-1 to that given Tier-2 (in order to verify the concurrency of read/write operations)
* LFC
** End of February 2006: LFC installed at each Tier-2
* VO Boxes
** Vo boxes currently installed at Tier-1 but subject to results of the review (January 2006)
** Installation in Tier-2s TBD
